Well, so with my current phone woes, I have being seriously studying the various offerings by the phone companies.
Below is my current requirements for a dream phone
Essentials
1) Windows Mobile
Just about the biggest reason being that all my contacts are in Outlook and having it sync is probably the number 1 criteria for me. I’m sure I ain’t the only one out there with such needs. Moreover, having the ability to read Office Documents, PDF, and run a host of third party programs makes me a fan.
2) Keyboard
Having used both Blackberries and Windows Smart phones, I have fallen greatly in love with the Keyboard. It allows me to more efficiently reply my text, compose some documents on the fly and double as extra buttons for gaming 
3) 3rd Party Apps
Nothing like having the ability to install the entire Wikipedia onto your PDA. Ever get stuck in the middle of nowhere like Survivor? Well in my line of work, that happens very very frequently as I am often traveling to such exotic locations where you would be lucky to get even a phone signal let alone internet. Ebook readers, wikipedia and what not tends to really allow me have my daily dosage of intellectual stimulants
Nice to have
1) Dual Sim capable
Since I am going to be getting a Blackberry data plan shortly, I figured having this along with my regular voice plan would work wonders. There is nothing more punishing traveling carrying an ungodly amount of wires and devices which is what
2) GPS
My current phone has a GPS, although I have used this feature sparingly over the past year, it has on occasion being a lifesaver. Being a geographic idiot, nothing beats having an actual bearing on where you are and where to go to.
3) Emulators friendly
As an aging gamer who still reminisce over the games I grew up with, having a PPC which is capable of running the Super Nintendo and the Genesis. The ability to emulate my cache of old games which I will naturally not bring along anywhere, anytime. Besides doubling as an portable console in parts of Sulawesi is just priceless.
So far, after some initial research, it seems like both the HTC Hermes and the upcoming HTC Kaiser

Stack them together and the pros and cons, the Kaiser just about wins on every count except for 2 things, it is not OUT YET and it will probably cost a bomb
