Sacrifices

Most people do not know that entrepreneurs sacrifice a lot for their success or their failures. (most of the time) In all honesty, you hear successful entrepreneurs talk about how hard it was to get their business off the ground, imagine that being replicated a 100 times and that is probably what they went through to succeed.

I remember reading an article about an entrepreneur who mention something about how he has to clean up the office after work as he has to watch every penny. It kind of symbolizes the amount of balls an entrepreneur has to juggle to get his company off the ground.

Although I have not reached that extent yet, keyword being yet; I can already feel some of the strains in starting this new venture. Between talking to my partner, doing all the patent work, looking for others willing to jump aboard this train, not to mention juggling the business plan is really taking some toil on both my professional and personal life.

Added to all the above is planning on a visit to the manufacturers next month means even more late nights I will be spending on this venture. My reading has suffered as well, I am re-reading Startup by Jerry Kaplan, always an entertaining read and is going through it slowly instead of my usual brisk pace.

So maybe I will end up mopping floors and dusting tables pretty soon :)
