Spoke to a friend just now regarding RFID; it seems that RFID looks to be taking over the world in terms of inventory, supply chain and such. From Walmart to Department of Defence, RFID is the new keyword in squeezing even more juice out from rocks.
The punishing factors would be to manufacturers and suppliers who have recurring costs but for the retailers and last person on the supply chain, it looks to help save them tons of money and allows for better tracking and inventory control.
Another friend of mine doing traditional security seals are currently not that convinced of their impending doom, but I can tell I defintely do not want to be in their shoes. Selling to a slowly shrinking market is the highway to hell
