The past week or so has being very hectic. First up, my pet project lost and gain ground in a sapce of a day. I did not make it to the top 8 of the Startup Competition in Singapore. There were a few reasons I believe why my project was not selected. Chief being that I didn’t exactly gave a stellar presentation. Nevertheless, the next day I received 2 phone calls in a space of 2 hours.
The first phone call was that Walmart has come back to my partners in Hong Kong and have expressed that they are interested. So we will be doing a trial run of 20,000 and seeing if the idea works out.
The second phone call was from my partner based in Australia who hook up with a potential contact that hopefully might become our Employee no.1 or even be another co-founder. This second front might prove very frutiful.
In regards to other things, I had a very happy school reunion the past week with my middle-school. (secondary school) Out of a level of 300+ students, 160 showed up for this 10 year reunion. Seeing all your fellow conspirators after 10 years was defintely a highlight of the year. Memories of fights, laughter, stupidity, girls, puberty and all things of youth was particularly nostalgic and I do hope such gatherings occur more often.
Lastly, there have been a lot of little opportunities springing up around me mainly centered around trading. What a week it has been
Did I mention that my email server died on me as well and it is undergoing repairs right now? heh
