I finally got around to touching up my blog. I installed an amazon plug and will be slowly updating the list of books I have read as well as my current reading list. As an avid reader, I consume books by the dozen every week or so. I can honestly say I am quite lucky to be living in a country whereby libraries are common and in fact probably rank as one of the best in the world.
The Singapore national library was one of the first few libraries in the world to use RFID and has quite a catalog. Being an average worker and a struggling entrepreneur, it does help in that I can get access to a great amount of books at various locations near me. (There is something like 4 libraries near me within a 15-20minute walk/car/bus away) How is that for accessibility? Interestingly, the Singapore national library was in the news today about how they will be using their RFID technology to start recommending books to people.
